You deserve more than a beautiful design. You deserve a remodeling experience that feels organized, thoughtful, and far less overwhelming. That's why I approach every project differently. Before focusing on finishes and fixtures, I help my clients gain clarity around their layout, priorities, and investment, so every decision that follows has purpose. The result is a home that doesn't just look beautiful. It works beautifully for the way your family lives.
Hi, I’m Yvonne. I'm a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD), wife, mom, and the founder of Harty Interiors. I previously served as a council member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association and I'm a proud member of the Distinctive Design Group here in Sacramento. At home, you'll usually find me with my husband, our two kids, and our whoodle, Luna.
Long before I became an interior designer, I worked in aviation, where precision, planning, and attention to detail were part of everyday life. I still lead every project by those lessons. When my own family built a home, I experienced firsthand how exciting, and overwhelming, a remodel can be. That's what led me to create the Interior Design MasterPlan: a planning-first approach that gives homeowners clarity on what they're building, what it may cost, and why each decision supports the way they live, before construction begins.
Working with Harty Interiors starts with clarity. Great design tells your story and fits the way your family moves through your home: morning routines, weeknight dinners, weekend guests, all of it.
Every project with Harty Interiors begins with a MasterPlan, so you know what you're building, what it costs, and why, before anything is finalized. Decisions happen in the right order, so nothing gets expensive by accident. Communication stays clear, so you always know where things stand. Working together should feel calm, and my job is to make sure it stays that way, from your first decision to your last, so you end up with a home that works for the way you live.
Harty Interiors proudly serves families across Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and Northern California.
The Interior Design MasterPlan is how we align your layout, budget, and direction before anything is built, so you move forward with clarity from day one.
From there, you choose your path: continue on your own, partner with us through Designer By Your Side, or hand the whole project to us with Full Service.

Her expertise and attention to detail provided us with several renderings of our kitchen remodel that our contractor was able to recreate.

She’s a true professional with insights we couldn’t have seen ourselves.”
“It has been a pleasure working with Yvonne as she guided me to create a lovely new home that I am proud to show off to family and friends. She never said no, but instead gave me alternatives that were even better than I had imagined.
Envisioning Yvonne’s ideas was far more interesting when she displayed them on her laptop. It made decision-making faster and much easier when I saw her creativity on the screen.
